In my spare time, I work on projects going from simple portfolio websites to full webshops with CMS, but I also like to work on other things like Java applications.

Website for a vitality center located in Afflighem. Includes a small CMS that allows for easy posting of announcements on the website.

Les Fous De Bruges

A CMS was added to the existing website, allowing the owner of this restaurant to easily manage the site such as customizing the menus in different languages.

Ordy

For the course Software Engineering Lab 1 at Ghent University, an Android app was developed which allowed to easily order food in groups.

AI President

For the course Artificial Intelligence at Ghent University, an AI agent for the card game Presidents was written. I also wrote a wrapper allowing to play the game with friends in the chat platform Discord.

Hydra

As a member of the student association Zeus WPI, I maintain the iOS app Hydra of Ghent University providing useful information to their students.

I write plugins (extensions) for the Minecraft server API SpigotMC and BungeeCord. Some of them are public and open source, but most of them are for my own Minecraft server SmessieCraft.

Software Engineer IDLab, Ghent University - 2022 (August - September)
As a student job, I participated in the research and implementation of the SolidLab Challenges. More specifically, I have worked on a form builder app with Solid to build a basic RDF form definition.

Internship, redpencil.io - 2022 (July - August)
As an intern, I worked on the implementation of a Solid Shop, a user-powered shopping ecosystem by use of SOLID PODs.

Project Manager / FSD DSA, Ghent University - 2022 (February - present)
As a student job, I was assigned as project manager and full stack developer of the Studieplekken (Study Rooms) application as part of the DSA (Dienst StudentenActiviteiten / Student Activities Office) IT team at Ghent University. This application offers students all over the city of Ghent the possibility to reserve a study place.

As a student job, I collaborated on the Studieplekken (Study Rooms) application as part of the DSA (Dienst StudentenActiviteiten / Student Activities Office) IT team at Ghent University. I implemented the login systems of the various higher education institutions in Ghent besides other extensions and improvements to the application.
